MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly willing to play the waiting game for Jadon Sancho until Dortmund lower his transfer fee.
The German club paid just £10million for the England international in 2017 - but now value him at £100million.
According to Sportsmail, the Red Devils are not prepared to pay Dortmund's asking price for the 20-year-old.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will bide their time until the Bundesliga giants are willing to accept a lower fee.
It has been reported that Lucien Favre's side will be willing to consider an offer of £90million this summer.
United could risk missing out on their top target if they wait too long as a number of clubs are queuing up to sign Sancho.
Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on the the English winger ahead of the transfer window.
Liverpool are also said to be interested and Manchester City could try to bring him back to the Etihad.
He fuelled transfer speculation as he 'liked' a tweet that claimed his "head is already with" another club.
And fans went wild when he was left out of Dortmund's starting XI that beat RB Leipzig.
But sporting director Michael Zorc claimed he was left on the sidelines as he had "no energy".
Dortmund boss Favre has already admitted Sancho is among the list of players that could quit his team this summer.
He said: "Obviously players will go and we hope that they stay but it is possible that they may also leave."
